The C.E.R.I Story
35 Years ago, a cowboy by the name of Nick Faris had a dream. Over the years, Nick noticed how the planet was being abused. He saw mankind's values change with the advance of technology, and it disturbed him profusely. He thought waste is stupid and it's expensive. He knew he had to do something, so he started recycling, but it wasn't enough. He needed help, but few were willing. On the 17th of June 2010, Steve Elliott heard Nick's story and was awakened. They knew the only way to make a difference was to bring the best Environmental minds together, put all their technology in one place, and build a model institute that could be copied all over the world. This would set the stage to teach a new and willing generation to live in harmony with our planet and turn the tide of man made global ruination. To use this ability to train the minds and hearts of all man to be the best guardians of our planet.
We send people to school every year, young and old, but nowhere has there been a complete environmental curriculum, accompanied by hands on research and development, in a real world situation. This Institute will not only teach the best of all we have, but it will be a forum for every new planet saving technology. With this knowledge in practice, we will partner with the residents of Huerfano County to build the first ever fully modern life styled, Carbon Credit Creating Community. A sustainable city that is built from the ground up to be a net energy exporter.
The only way we are going to make a difference is to come together and share all the knowledge, from every walk of life. Please join us in our mission to teach all our brothers and sisters to be the guardians of Mother Earth that we are intended to be.
